Database Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues or escalate to development teams
  2. Monitor support queues, prioritise, investigate and resolve escalated incidents and service requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and product management on unresolved technical issues.
  3. Analyse incidents and conduct root cause analysis to identify trends and collaborate with customers and development teams to implement actions that prevent reoccurrence.
  4. Review, create and maintain documentation related to applications, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  5. Provide technical assistance to users on complex queries and providing guidance on application functionalities.
  6. Analyse incident and customer usage metrics, generating reports, and providing insights to improve applications, incident management processes and customer experience.
