Senior Contract Manager

We are seeking a seasoned contract and legal professional with deep expertise in international arbitration, contract management, and operational risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate will bring strategic legal insight, negotiation prowess, and a proven track record of handling complex claims and contractual matters across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage international arbitration proceedings, ensuring alignment with global legal standards and corporate interests.
  • Develop, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts from inception to completion.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations, ensuring compliance and enforceability.
  • Negotiate INCO terms, freight agreements, and vessel-related legal documentation with clients, vendors, and third parties.
  • Manage and resolve vessel claims, operational disputes, and procurement-related issues.
  • Analyse potential liabilities and implement strategies for cost reduction and risk minimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a large manufacturing company.
  • Demonstrated expertise in international arbitration, maritime claims, INCO terms, and commercial law.
  • A strong ability to navigate complex negotiations and legal risks in a fast-paced business environment.
