Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage procurement operations, ensuring timely delivery of quality materials while optimizing costs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, vendor management, and purchasing workflows, with a strong focus on cost control and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Procurement Plans: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish Supplier Relationships: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Maintain Supplier Database: Maintain a supplier database, ensuring continuous assessment of performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements for materials and equipment.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure purchased materials comply with engineering specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Analyze Data: Analyze procurement data and supplier performance to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Forecast Pricing Trends: Forecast pricing trends and market fluctuations to mitigate financial risks.
  • Optimize Supply Chain Processes: Ensure timely delivery of materials by coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams.
  • Minimize Delays: Optimize supply chain processes to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments related to procurement, including supplier financial stability and geopolitical risks.
  • Manage Contract Disputes: Manage contract disputes, warranties, and claims in collaboration with legal teams.
