About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Telephony Support Specialist to join our team at HCL Technologies Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and project delivery for our EMEA staff.
The ideal candidate will have excellent hands-on experience in Cisco CUCM and suite of related products, as well as Unity Voicemail, Expressways, and Upgrade/installation of UCCE. They will also possess strong knowledge of UCCE SQL tables and the ability to debug UCCE logs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2-3 support for all UK voice systems, covering support, BAU admin, and maintenance in line with company standards
- Act as one of the SMEs for UCCE and CUCM, providing recommendations and expertise towards consolidation/migration of the voice estate to company standard
- Provide technical fault finding and incident management for voice incidents
- Maintain and ensure high levels of network/voice availability and resilience
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience of hands-on involvement in setting and managing enterprise voice systems UCCE and CUCM
- Strong knowledge of voice over IP protocols (SIP, H323, MGCP, SCCP, etc.) and legacy voice protocols (ISDN, QSIG etc.)
- Ability to debug voice gateway including Qsig, SIP protocols
