Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology transformation efforts.

    As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for defining and executing our IT strategy, driving business growth through digital innovation, and ensuring the effective delivery of technology solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

    You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and oversee the development and implementation of new technologies and systems.

    In addition, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key vendors, partners, and stakeholders, as well as developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in leading large-scale technology transformations, driving business growth through digital innovation, and managing complex IT projects and teams.

    They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Over 20 years of experience in IT/tech, preferably in retail organizations or services companies while managing end-to-end responsibilities for enterprises.
  • Experience in digital transformation for enterprises, with experience in the retail industry preferred, spanning across business processes.
  • Experience with omnichannel systems required for a new generation retailer.
  • Experience across applications, infrastructure, network, and end-user IT environment operations.
  • Ability to define and manage a futuristic IT architecture, spanning applications, data, and security.
  • Experience in establishing an IT governance model across the organization.
  • Experience in DevOps transformation.
  • Experience in process transformation.
  • Exposure to AI and automation technologies.
  • Willingness to take risks and ability to start from scratch.
  • Target orientation and familiarity with service delivery constructs relevant to IT services – experience in building and managing a partner ecosystem.
  • Front-line leadership and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of technology and architecture concepts – industry trends/disruptors.
  • Team building and team management skills.
