Job Overview

Dawnbreak AI is a stealth-mode startup developing cutting-edge technology to automate critical homecare processes. We are building from the ground up to solve one of healthcare's most complex and high-impact problems.

We seek an experienced Chief Technology Officer with expertise in designing scalable systems, generative AI, DevOps, and AIOps to drive our technology vision and execution.

  • Design and develop core systems for homecare automation.
  • Develop and deploy AI/GenAI pipelines for automation, decision support, and caregiver workflows.
  • Owning the lifecycle of large language models—fine-tuning, deployment, monitoring, and scaling in production.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation across workflows.
  • Ensure systems meet HIPAA, SOC-2, and DPDP standards from inception.
  • Contribute to code, architecture, and experimentation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with strong exposure to AI/ML in production environments.
  • Proven expertise in GenAI, LLMOps, and large-scale model deployment.
  • Strong skills in Python, FastAPI, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud-native infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
  • Experience building end-to-end AI systems, including data pipelines, training, inference, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of data security, compliance frameworks, and scalable system design.
  • Past experience as a CTO or Founding Engineer at a startup is mandatory.
