About BuildAmbit

We are an upcoming Edtech & Upskilling platform focused on transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry with tech-first learning solutions. As we scale, we need a strategic technology leader to guide our technology strategy and oversee the development of our Learning Management System (LMS) and digital platform.

Role Overview

Our Fractional CTO will work closely with the founding team to provide leadership, ensure robust architecture decisions, and oversee execution with lean resources. This is a high-impact role ideal for senior technology leaders who want to contribute to an early-stage startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • We need someone to define and drive our technology roadmap.
  • Oversight of the LMS platform design and development.
  • Scaled, secure, and compliant architecture aligned with Edtech needs.
  • Evaluation and onboarding of technology stack, tools, and vendors.
  • Building and mentoring an initial tech/product team.
  • Advice on AI/ML, personalization, and data-driven features.
  • Aligning technology strategy with business goals and scalability.

Requirements

  • More than 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling digital platforms (preferably in Edtech, SaaS, or consumer tech).
  • Hands-on expertise in product architecture, cloud infrastructure, and security.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, APIs, and integrations is a plus.
  • Able to work in a fractional / part-time capacity.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
