Embedded Systems Expert

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Expert to develop, debug and maintain firmware for microcontrollers and microprocessors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and test embedded firmware for various applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with electronics and sensors.
  • Implement and optimize communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, BLE, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers.
  • Exposure to ESP-based firmware development (ESP32, ESP8266) including Wi-Fi/BLE stack integration.
  • Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar) or bare-metal programming.

Maintaining software configuration control, working on firmware flashing, OTA updates, and peripheral integration, optimizing firmware for performance and power efficiency, participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation, and troubleshooting hardware/firmware integration issues are also part of the job.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with embedded development environments and toolchains.
  • Knowledge of hardware debugging tools.
  • Strong understanding of standard communication protocols.

Wireless communication (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa), IoT/cloud integration (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, MQTT), scripting in Python/Bash, Linux-based embedded development, and experience in agile practices are beneficial.
