Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design and implement high-availability and scalable OpenShift virtualization environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing OpenShift virtualization environments with high availability and scalability
  • Troubleshooting complex issues related to OpenShift, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • Implementing and managing IT processes, including incident, change, and problem management
  • Managing Windows Server infrastructure, including patch management and server maintenance
  • Understanding and applying networking principles and practices to ensure secure and efficient network operations
  • Managing storage systems and technologies, including storage management in OpenShift (PV, PVC)
  • Deploying, operating, decommissioning, and migrating virtual machines (V2V and P2V) in OpenShift and VMware environments
  • Documenting systems, configurations, and processes accurately and thoroughly for future reference
  • Collaborating closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud computing and virtualization technologies
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Servers, including patch management
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and practices
  • Knowledge of storage management in OpenShift (PV, PVC)
  • Experience in deploying, operating, decommissioning, and migrating virtual machines (V2V and P2V)
  • Ability to work on rotational shifts, including night shifts
  • Excellent documentation and collaboration skills
