Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to design and optimize high-performance databases for AI-driven applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.) and experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.). Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is beneficial.

Key responsibilities include architecting scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL), optimizing database queries, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure efficient data retrieval and analytics pipelines. The candidate should also be able to implement robust data security measures, including backup and disaster recovery protocols.

Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows is essential. Collaboration with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines is required. Integrating databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems to enhance data exchange and analysis is also necessary.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong expertise in database optimization, indexing, partitioning, and solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL) and familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation and prior work with enterprise-scale databases handling high-volume data.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Knowledge of streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML data pipelines and exposure to DevOps for databases (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD for DB).
