Structured Finance Associate/Sr. Associate

The primary responsibility involves working closely with clients to understand their investment requirements in the structured finance space.

  • We onboard, monitor, and manage client portfolios, reviewing legal agreements, and interpreting servicer or trustees' reporting.
  • We collaborate with clients on risk and exposure monitoring, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • We calculate and monitor key metrics such as covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • We lead daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • We work with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to maintain data accuracy on our proprietary platforms.
  • We mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their learning curve.
  • We provide enhanced surveillance to clients, sharing critical aspects of portfolio performance proactively.
  • We standardize and streamline processes, increasing efficiency and establishing SOPS for deliverables.

Key Skills:

  • Broad understanding of Structured Finance products and corporate credit landscape.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with financial databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
  • MBA or advanced degree in finance (CFA, CAIA, FRM) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Investment Management, or Financial Advisory.

This role requires a strong understanding of the structured finance industry, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Investment Banking, Investment Management, or Financial Advisory and possess a deep understanding of financial concepts and technologies.
