Job Opportunity

The role of a Messaging Expert involves troubleshooting messaging systems, providing technical support, and managing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a collaborative environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering, configuration, and administration activities for messaging systems
  • Work as part of the Middleware Engineering team and have willingness to learn & support IBM MQ and IBM ACE
  • Architect and deploy messaging infrastructure across cloud environments
  • Define and implement event-driven strategies, leveraging features like topic hierarchies and dynamic routing
  • Configure components such as brokers, VPNs, queues, topics, and client connections for optimal performance
  • Ensure robust security, access control, and monitoring of messaging environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate messaging with microservices, APIs, and external platforms (Kafka, JMS, MQTT, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot complex messaging issues including latency, throughput, and durability concerns
  • Automate setup and monitoring processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible etc.
  • Advise on best practices for event modeling, governance, and taxonomy
  • Support enablement activities such as training and knowledge transfer for internal engineering and DevOps teams
  • Provide level 3 support including incident resolution and root cause analysis

Requirements:

  • Total Years of experience: 5 years+
  • Years of experience in Solace: 1 - 2 years
  • Strong knowledge of scripting using Korn Shell Scripts, Perl etc.
  • Platform RedHat Linux
  • Research on product capabilities and conduct POCs for new products/features
