We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a Senior Kitchen Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knife handling skills, a strong understanding of culinary terms, and the ability to work efficiently and productively. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to public health standards, and reporting to duty at assigned times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare all basic food items for the menu requested by your supervisor, including sauces, soups, and salads.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Public Health: Adhere to public health standards, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort setting.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent training.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
