Senior Taxation Specialist

Acme-Services is seeking an experienced Senior Taxation Specialist to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex tax assessments and litigations, providing advisory services on domestic and international taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of faceless assessment and appeal proceedings documents, penalty submissions for penalty proceedings etc.
  • Representation before assessing officer and various other authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings.
  • Compilation, vetting and filing return of incomes and TDS returns for individuals, partnership firms, HUF, companies etc.
  • Response to letters and making compliances to queries of department.
  • Briefing managers, partners and counsels for CIT (appeals), tribunal and high court matters.
  • Preparation and submission of documents and paper books for matters before various appellate authorities.
  • Thorough research for technical and legal issues in the appeal matters.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 8 to 10+ years of experience in Direct Tax.
  • Excellent knowledge of Indian Direct Tax Laws and working mechanics of government departments and dealt with related challenges.
  • Frequent changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Complex tax assessments and litigations.
  • Cross-functional data coordination.
  • Transfer pricing and compliances to support cross-border transactions.
  • Interpersonal skills and collaborative working.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working presentation skills.
