Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Closures Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality closures for the automotive industry.

Closures Design Engineer Position
  • Design and develop closure systems using CATIA and PLM software's like Team center
  • Develop sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and some plastics parts with expertise in Part development/supplier interaction
  • Execute complete project execution of Closure system with strong technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly process
  • Prepare and deliver presentations of concepts/master sections with sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automobile domain having worked in Closures Design and possess good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 4-6 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of CAD software and preferably experience with Team center
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
