We are seeking an expert in automation and embedded systems to join our team. As a Python Automation Developer for Automotive Domain, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based automation frameworks for embedded automotive systems.

Job Overview:

This is a senior-level position that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, C, and embedded systems, as well as knowledge of testing life cycle, defect management, and test strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, maintain, and improve automation frameworks using Python for embedded automotive systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure quality.
  3. Perform requirement analysis, derive test cases, and execute white-box and black-box testing.
  4. Analyze test results, report defects with detailed logs, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  5. Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety protocols.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Python for automation and testing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems testing within the automotive domain.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Deep knowledge of testing life cycle, defect management, and test strategy.
  • Experience in code-level testing and debugging.
  • Familiarity with tools and techniques for code coverage analysis.
  • Proficiency in C for embedded systems.
  • Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to derive and execute test cases from system/software requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with CAN (Controller Area Network), UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services), CANoe / CANalyzer.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy in test case design and execution.
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR layered software architecture.
  • Experience with Git and/or Subversion.
  • Understanding of Unified Modeling Language for system design and documentation.
