Information Security Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Governance Specialist to join our team at Network Intelligence. This exciting opportunity allows you to develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks, ensuring the highest level of security for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote industry-leading security best practices and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and update information security policies, procedures, and standards to reflect emerging threats and risks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior management on security governance metrics, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
Risk Management:
- Participate in risk assessments, identifying and analyzing potential risks across systems and processes to inform mitigation strategies.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date risk register, tracking the status of risk mitigation activities and ensuring timely implementation of risk treatment plans.
- Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity risks and recommend evidence-based risk mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
Compliance:
- Support internal and external compliance audits (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, PCI-DSS), ensuring seamless audit readiness and documentation of evidence.
- Map compliance requirements to security policies and processes, providing clear guidance to stakeholders on regulatory expectations.
- Monitor changes in regulatory frameworks and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance, documenting any updates or changes.
Awareness and Reporting:
- Assist in preparing and delivering engaging security awareness materials and training sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Participate in incident reporting and tracking to align with compliance requirements, providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive security frameworks and processes, ensuring continuity and audit readiness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and knowledge of risk management concepts.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing clear and concise policy documents.
- Eagerness to learn about security governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management, with a willingness to adapt to changing regulatory requirements.
Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
