Job Title:
State Leadership Position

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the bancassurance channel within a specific state. As a senior leadership position, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and enhance performance. This involves fostering strong relationships with partner banks, leveraging their branch network to expand our reach, and leading a team of high-performing bancassurance managers and executives. You will play a pivotal role in achieving the state's business targets and expanding our partnership's footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the state's bancassurance channel.
  • Build and nurture relationships with regional and state leadership of partner banks.
  • Lead a high-performing team of bancassurance managers and sales executives, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and expand the bancassurance channel's footprint across the state.
  • Ensure front-line staff are well-trained on insurance products and sales processes.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the bancassurance or financial services sector.
  • Proven track record of managing a large-scale sales channel and achieving targets.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities.
