Logistics Manager Role

This position is crucial for the smooth and efficient movement of goods. The incumbent ensures adherence to safety and compliance standards, ultimately enhancing the company's productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Planning: Execute logistics plans, coordinate with internal teams and partners, and ensure timely deliveries. Develop and maintain effective logistics strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform inventory audits, and maintain proper product storage and safety standards. Optimize inventory management processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Transportation Coordination: Track shipments, coordinate with transporters, and support negotiation and execution of transportation agreements. Ensure seamless transportation operations to meet customer demands.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate logistics records, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and follow safety protocols. Implement robust compliance measures to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Reporting and Cost Monitoring: Provide daily/weekly logistics updates, track expenses, and highlight cost-optimization opportunities. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Excel. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license (preferred) and willingness to travel if required.
