Supply Chain Optimization Professional

You will play a key role in our supply chain team, ensuring the seamless delivery of generic formulations by developing and maintaining effective supply plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop medium-to-long term production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory norms, transit time, and manufacturing capacities.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing plants, API teams, and procurement teams for timely execution of production plans.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimum inventory levels (RM, PM, FG) to avoid stock-outs and obsolescence.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage capacity constraints; escalate risks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Supply Chain Alignment: Optimize inventory holdings in consultation with finance and commercial teams, while ensuring availability of finished goods.
  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with demand planning and commercial teams to align supply plans with market requirements.
  • S&OP Process Support: Support S&OP processes by providing supply scenarios and constraints where applicable.
  • Tertiary Functions: Act as a bridge between production, QA/QC, regulatory, procurement, API planning, logistics, and commercial teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely readiness of materials, artwork, and regulatory approvals for production.
  • Supply Risk Mitigation: Identify supply risks, delays, or constraints and proactively implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory Shelf-Life Management: Track and manage inventory shelf-life risks, batch expiry management, and re-testing needs.
  • Master Data Accuracy: Ensure timely updates and accuracy of master data in ERP/SAP systems (BOM, lead times, MOQ, batch sizes etc).
  • Regulatory Norms: Adhere to cGMP, GDP, and other regulatory compliance norms in supply planning activities.
  • Performance Analysis: Generate periodic reports on supply KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover, etc.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze supply chain performance and recommend process improvements.
