Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Servicenow Technical Lead to lead the development, implementation and ongoing support of our Servicenow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Servicenow CSM and FSM with experience integrating multiple applications and managing technical product lifecycles.

The role involves engaging with stakeholders, defining solution blueprints, developing and maintaining customisations and integrations and acting as a true product owner. This includes ensuring standardisation, best practices and scalability across all implementations and customisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT team responsible for the Servicenow platform encompassing development, implementation and support ownership.
  • Manage the Product Roadmap system upgrades and critical application dependencies for the Servicenow platform.
  • Collaborate with business and other technical teams to define detailed requirements document comprehensive solution designs.
  • Design configure and test core Servicenow CSM/FM modules including hands-on configuration using industry best practices.
  • Develop complex system customisations across all scripting modules.
  • Manage Jira tasks estimations and risks oversee the release process for Servicenow solutions.
  • Take full ownership of the Servicenow platform fixing defects and developing new user stories.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 6-10 years of experience in a similar Servicenow technical role.
  • Certified Servicenow Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications highly preferred.
  • Thorough hands-on Servicenow Customisation & Configuration experience.
  • Proven experience integrating Servicenow with other applications using various methods.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira for project and task management alongside Servicenow.
  • Strong knowledge of Workflows Flow Designer email notifications Catalog Items Record Producers and UI Policies.
  • Experience with JavaScript for integrations email configuration workflows and Client Scripts.
  • Good knowledge of creating catalogs records portals SLAs Scheduled Reports Scheduled Jobs and Order Guides.
  • Ability to assist with support activities and work effectively as a team member.
