Architectural BIM Coordinator Job Description">

As a key member of our team, the Architectural BIM Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless collaboration between project teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and be proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Recap. A strong understanding of parametric and non-parametric family creation is also essential.

  • Assist project teams in adhering to the BIM Implementation Plan, including model submittal schedules and updates to reflect as-built conditions for submission.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver client BIM requirements for architectural and structural services.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on Autodesk Revit models.
  • Prepare drawing packages.
  • Demonstrate technical capability of BIM Level of Development (LOD) 300, with knowledge of LOD 400 and 500.
  • Coordinate and develop designs from conception to construction through BIM processes, such as 5D/4D.
  • Manage 3D models, review model quality, and technical content, including clash detection and compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Analyze models provided by architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to identify coordination and constructability issues.
  • Have knowledge of parametric and non-parametric family creation.
  • Experience in Scan to BIM & PDF to CAD projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Recap.
  • Strong understanding of parametric and non-parametric family creation.
  • Experience with BIM Implementation Plans and model submittal schedules.
  • Ability to analyze models and identify coordination and constructability issues.
