BIM ArchitectAs a BIM Architect, you will be responsible for working with BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs to create detailed lighting models and ensure all project requirements are met.Key Responsibilities:
  • BIM Modeling:
    • Create custom lighting fixture families in Revit.
    • Set up new projects and templates using industry standards.
    • Collaborate with architects and engineers to incorporate lighting into overall designs.
  • Quality Checks:
    • Review BIM work done by team members to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Establish and follow quality check processes to maintain project efficiency.
  • Lighting Design:
    • Develop lighting projects from concept to detailed design and documentation.
    • Accurately detail lighting models to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with different teams to incorporate lighting into building designs.
    • Share knowledge about lighting and BIM best practices to improve team performance.
  • Documentation:
    • Prepare drawings, reports, and specs for lighting projects.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to project managers or clients to ensure transparency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Engineer, especially in lighting design.
  • Extra certifications in BIM or lighting design are an asset.
  • Familiarity with BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Docs.
  • Understanding of lighting design principles and industry standards.
  • Experience with quality checks in BIM workflows to ensure project efficiency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
