Senior Manager Internal Audit

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To conduct risk-based internal audits for assigned areas.
  2. To develop departmental initiatives to improve functionality and workflow within the Internal Audit team.
  3. To ensure timely completion of work assignments.
  4. To discuss audit observations with stakeholders in a timely manner.
  5. To manage the Internal Audit team and optimize their efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. To guarantee the quality of audit findings and documentation.
  7. To prepare and review Risk Control Matrices (RCMs).
  8. To compile internal audit reports for management reviews.
  9. To prepare quarterly reports for the Audit Committee Board (ACB).
  10. To conduct internal audits of various business functions, including credit, compliance, risk, treasury, etc.
  11. To provide training to the Internal Audit team on topics such as RCMs, audit reports, and procedures for conducting audits.
  12. To coordinate with stakeholders and Heads of Departments to ensure smooth functioning of the Internal Audit team and address any challenges proactively.
  13. To perform thematic reviews of processes to evaluate system gaps and provide assurance on specific aspects of business processes when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and internal audit methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
