Financial Transactions Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and issuance of invoices to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely delivery of invoices to meet customer requirements.
  • Enter invoices into relevant systems and databases.
  • Submit invoices through electronic data interchange (EDI) or other approved methods.
  • Familiarize yourself with customer-specific invoicing requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Carefully review each invoice field before submission to prevent errors.
  • Maintain supporting documents and backups related to invoices.
  • Provide regular updates on invoice submission status and maintain records of submissions.
  • Collaborate with the payroll and invoicing teams to optimize the invoice submission process.
  • Generate statements of accounts and reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets.
  • Handle invoice rejections and credits, as well as rebills.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the entire invoicing process, ensuring it remains up-to-date.
  • Contribute to the improvement of invoicing platforms and tools.
  • Support credit control efforts in invoicing and payment collection.
