Job Opportunity: Site Execution Engineer

This role involves ensuring the timely and quality execution of solar installations at project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing projects according to design specifications, adhering to safety standards and meeting project timelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring daily installation activities for solar PV systems is a key aspect of this job.
  • The Site Execution Engineer will ensure that technical drawings and quality standards are strictly followed.
  • Effective coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams is also crucial.
  • Project progress tracking and ensuring timely material delivery are essential responsibilities.
  • Enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular toolbox talks are critical duties in this role.
  • Proper earthing, module mounting, cabling, and inverter installations must also be ensured.
  • Assistance with on-site troubleshooting of technical issues is another important responsibility.
  • Conducting initial system testing and commissioning are part of this role's duties.
  • Maintaining daily work progress reports is also necessary.
Requirements:
  • A thorough understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and balance of system (BoS) components is required.
  • Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera for project planning is also essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are vital for success in this role.
  • Problem-solving and time management skills are also crucial for effective project execution.
