Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer/Sr. Engineer

The Client is a renowned multi-national technical consultancy company in the renewable energy sector, boasting an impressive 21-year history and an exceptional track record of over 100GW renewable energy projects in more than 40 countries.

With offices located in Pune, Vadodara, Riyadh, and Texas, They have built a notable presence and have excelled in the field of renewable energy due to their expertise and accomplishments of their team, which consists of over 120+ highly skilled engineers and experts.

The role necessitates excellent communication abilities and strong leadership and management skills for the position of Electrical Engineer / Sr. Engineer at the India office of the Client, which is seeking to hire due to ongoing expansion and increased demand for their services.

About the Role:
  • Perform steady state and transient power system studies using tools such as ETAP, Power Factory DigSilent, PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and EMTP.
  • Work on Power System Studies, including Load Flow studies, Short circuit studies, Protection coordination studies, Arc flash studies, Power quality studies, Grid compliance studies, Grid impact studies, Contingency analysis, Insulation coordination studies, Stability Studies, Grounding Studies, Cable ampacity studies, and modeling of Solar PV Plant, Wind Turbine, and BESS system.
  • Model in ETAP and Power factory DigSilent tool and have experience in PSSE, EMTP and PSCAD tool.
  • Have good report writing skills, presentation, and curves preparing skills.
  • Experience in coding, scripting, and automation in DSL/Python would be an added advantage.
  • Update library as and when required in ETAP/Power factory tool.
  • Have good understanding and application of various countries grid codes, especially India, Africa, and Middle East.
  • Knowledge of IEC, Indian Standard, IEEE, NEC, and other applicable standards used to perform power system studies.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Accountable for performing assigned tasks on projects within the scope and schedule and ability to learn new skills.
  • Willingness to travel and stay as per requirement in India and abroad.
  • Comply with the organization's HSE commitment.
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, and BESS system) specifically power evacuation studies would be preferred.
  • Experience of green hydrogen project application would be an added advantage.
