Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar Energy Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our solar energy design team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar energy systems that meet the needs of our clients.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize solar energy systems to maximize energy output and minimize costs
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze solar potential to determine the best system designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of solar projects
  • Develop and maintain detailed electrical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in solar design and installation, including software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and codes, as well as solar industry best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform site assessments and determine solar potential
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with project management and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Knowledge of renewable energy policies and regulations
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy
