HR and Payroll Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in delivering high-quality HR operational support throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing accurate, timely, and efficient administrative support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Records Management
  • Maintain Accurate Employee Files: Ensure employee files (digital and physical) are accurate, up-to-date, and secure
  • Manage Confidential Documents: Manage sensitive documents such as contracts, personal information, performance reviews, and disciplinary records with discretion and care
  • Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Prepare Contracts and New Hire Paperwork: Prepare all necessary contracts and paperwork for new hires
  • Coordinate Offboarding Logistics: Oversee offboarding logistics, including final settlements and record archiving
  • Ensure Smooth Onboarding: Manage onboarding process with HR induction and ensure a seamless experience for new hires
  • Payroll Processing Oversight
  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring compliance with labour laws
  • Payroll Expertise: Act as the go-to person for payroll across the organization, coordinating with external providers and internal teams
  • Timely and Accurate Payroll: Ensure timely, accurate payroll - salaries, deductions, benefits, and taxes
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Reconcile discrepancies and stay updated on payroll legislation
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Administer Employee Benefits: Administer employee benefits (health insurance, leave tracking, etc.)
  • Track Absences: Track absences, PTOs, and vacation days
  • HR System Management
  • HRIS Platform Oversight: Oversee our HRIS platform, ensuring clean data, strong system integrity, and optimal usage
  • Cross-Department Liaison
  • HR-Accounting Collaboration: Be the key bridge between HR and Accounting for payroll and employee records
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • HR Reports: Create and deliver HR reports for internal stakeholders
  • General HR Support
  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider HR team
