Job Overview

The Accounts Receivable Performance Expert will be a thought leader and change agent who focuses on systemic ways to improve accounts receivable performance. This position partners with cross-functional business and technical teams to maximize free cash flow, identify and resolve points of friction in the order-to-cash process, and delight customers by providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead critical operational processes including collections, cash application, credit notes, and deduction management, collections, and vendor/customer contact management.
  • Drive organization strategy, playing a leader role in improving process efficiencies and effectiveness, providing critical feedback regarding tool design, and lead adoption efforts of new processes, workflows, tools, and other automation.
  • Identify improvement opportunities (upstream and downstream) and drive engagement across business partners, team members, and customers to construct and implement long-term solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with internal and external partners to improve OTC lifecycle.
  • Define, maintain, and monitor performance metrics to ensure decisions are data-driven.
  • Ensure new businesses and acquired businesses are successfully onboarded to Amazon systems and processes to ensure maximum collection and cash application efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience.
  • 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
  • 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
  • 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
  • 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
  • Experience performing ad-hoc analysis using advanced Excel.
  • Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem-solving.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
