Lead Senior Wealth Underwriter RoleJob Description:

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables contributing to large-scale planning related to wealth underwriting. You will review, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for moderately complex high-net-worth loans to determine credit worthiness and monitor existing portfolio to identify issues that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

You will present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations independently resolve business, operational, or technical issues and lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of wealth underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.

As a senior leader, you will develop a solid understanding of home lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for wealth investment management client mortgages as needed. You will collaborate and consult with wealth underwriting peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; serve as a mentor for lower level staff.

Finally, you will provide input to assist leaders with credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-9 years of commercial underwriting experience including underwriting high net worth individuals
