Lead Senior Wealth Underwriter Role

This senior wealth underwriting position requires an individual with extensive experience in underwriting high-net-worth loans, a deep understanding of wealth management and investment products, and the ability to lead teams to meet deliverables.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough analysis of borrower financial data to determine creditworthiness for moderately complex high-net-worth loans
    • Review and evaluate existing portfolio to identify potential issues requiring in-depth evaluation
    • Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations
    • Independently resolve business, operational, or technical issues while leading team members to meet deliverables
    • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages
    • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, serving as a mentor for lower level staff
    • Provide input to assist leaders with credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations
  • Requirements:
    • 8-9 years of custom/commercial underwriting experience, including underwriting high net-worth individuals
