Key Account Financial Manager

We are currently hiring for a financial management role with a leading B2B company based in Gurgaon.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the day-to-day operations of accounts payable and AR departments, including vendor payments, collections, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ownership of the end-to-end AR/O2C Process.
  • Building strong relationships with customers by addressing billing or payment concerns promptly and professionally. Collaboration with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer disputes.
  • Supervision and mentoring of a team of accounts receivable clerks or specialists, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Reviewing and improving accounts receivable processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Analytical Tasks:

  • Implementing and enforcing effective credit and collections policies to ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Monitoring cash flow by analyzing accounts receivable aging reports and developing strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize cash collections.
  • Identifying potential revenue leakage and implementing processes to bridge gaps.

Reporting KPIs:

  • Preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports, metrics, and KPIs for management and financial reporting purposes.
  • Publishing dashboards for Management, including aging report, old provisioning, revenue growth, and cash flows.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal control policies related to Accounts receivable and credit management.
  • Suggesting accounting for new business transactions in line with applicable accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Candidates with experience in building automated processes and driving outcomes are preferred.
  • CA with 4-6 years of work experience in B2B setup.
  • Experience in IFRS/Ind-AS is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making mentality.
