Senior Structural Design Engineer

Our organization seeks an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the design of complex structural projects, collaborating with other teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience in analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures, including high-rises, stadiums, airports, malls, culverts, and tanks.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards.
  • Understanding of loads and load paths.
  • Understanding of seismic and wind load parameters with applicable design approaches.
  • Ability to coordinate and negotiate structural requirements with other trades.
  • Ability to work in a team, lead junior engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.
  • Preparation of technical reports, presentations, bill of quantities, and review shop drawings.
  • Awareness of quality procedures and technical report writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Open to short travel and deputation to other countries or offices when required.
Requirements:
  • Candidate should have core design experience of 8+ years in design of concrete/steel structures.
  • Good experience of using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python.
  • Work experience in Gulf countries with international codes preferred.
