Structural Design Engineer - Petrochemical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing detailed design engineering activities for assigned projects in petrochemical plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, project specifications, design calculations, and procurement specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Estimate and engineer work related to bids, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct jacket and topside pre-service analysis, jacket impact analysis, and fatigue analysis to ensure structural integrity.
  • Perform pile drivability analysis, load calculations, and loading sketches to determine optimal solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of industrial architecture, process equipment, and roadways to inform design decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, and Staad Foundation.
  • Experience with FEM-based connection design tools like Ideastatica.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools like Tekla Structures, Navisworks, and SPR.
  • Hands-on experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design and detailing.
