BIM Drafting Expert

We are seeking an experienced BIM drafting expert to join our team and contribute to the creation of accurate and detailed building information models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools, with a good understanding of construction and detailing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare 3D BIM models and structural drawings based on engineering markups and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure model consistency.
  • Produce accurate shop drawings, detailed sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.
  • Maintain BIM models and update them as needed through the lifecycle of the project.
  • Follow company BIM standards and ensure compliance with local and international codes.
  • Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM coordination software.
  • Ensure quality control of drafted output and manage drawing revisions.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide input on constructability and detailing issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a structural draftsman, with at least 2 years using BIM/Revit.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks.
  • Solid knowledge of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning, etc.) and detailing standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Revit or BIM is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards.
