Structured Finance Associate Role

The role involves working closely with clients to understand their investment deal requirements in structured finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting legal agreements for client onboarding, understanding servicer or trustees' reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret legal agreements for client onboarding, understanding servicer or trustees' reporting.
  • Support clients in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions.
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, and other key metrics.
  • Lead daily operations of workstreams, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data accuracy on proprietary platforms.
  • Mentor junior team members to improve learning curves.
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios, sharing critical performance aspects proactively.
  • Assist in standardising processes, increasing efficiencies, and setting up SOPS around deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Broad understanding of structured finance products, corporate credit landscape, and ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel.
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Desired candidate must have a graduate degree in finance, such as an MBA, CFA, CAIA, or FRM.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm is preferred.
