Accounts Payable Associate

The role of Accounts Payable Associate is to process company invoices and end-to-end accounts payable processes, working closely with suppliers and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registering supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  • Investigating supplier invoice disputes on a daily basis, resolving them efficiently.
  • Running daily, weekly and monthly reports in Excel, taking action on open queries.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and handling disputes effectively.
  • Archiving and filing documents in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Working collaboratively with Business Development Managers, Product Specialists and vendor contacts.
  • Managing the pipeline for opportunities within defined criteria and account base.
  • Providing support to accounts on queries and assisting with development.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with vendor personnel.
  • Taking responsibility for self-development in product knowledge and job competencies.

  • A strong desire to provide excellent customer service by resolving enquiries efficiently.
  • Ability to have a high-level understanding of the client product portfolio through training.
  • A confident self-starter and team player who can cope under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and demonstrate responsible team membership.
  • Sound business acumen and ability to understand and interact with customers.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications.

You possess expertise in:

  • Fluency in English (spoken & written).
  • Fast learning ability to pick up new systems and processes.
  • Great attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Numerate with accounting knowledge and adept with supply chain management accounting.
  • Previous experience from a similar role would be advantageous.
