The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of compliance regulations, risk management principles, and testing methodologies. They will be responsible for designing and implementing effective testing programs, conducting risk assessments, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • ","
  • Timely execution of fieldwork and testing of core responsibilities across various areas of laws, including AML, Privacy, Anti-corruption, Consumer Protection, and Fairness.","
  • Exhibit strong and independent risk assessment skills in designing the overall testing program and during alignment stages (issue classification and reporting).","
  • Regular and timely dialogue and communication on the progress of work and potential findings with Manager Compliance Testing Team.","
  • Independently lead conversations with senior stakeholders (Directors, VPs) during kickoffs, testing, and issue alignment discussions with minimal managerial support.","
  • Train and mentor other colleagues in upskilling themselves with relevant knowledge and practices.","
  • Work with Compliance leadership in various strategic initiatives to improve the overall delivery model and contribute/participate in presentations to senior leadership.","
  • Develop remediation plans to address findings in collaboration with Business.","
  • Detect and identify emerging regulatory risks or impending legislation that may impact Compliance Monitoring Plan.","

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance within the Big Four or in a bank/financial institution with preferably Anti-Money Laundering background.","
  • Academic Background: Good academic qualification with experience in compliance or legal with Anti-Money Laundering knowledge would be an added advantage.","
  • Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS, MBA, and individuals with certifications in audit would be preferred.","
