Infrastructure Strategy Leader

This is a senior leadership role for a highly skilled professional who can lead infrastructure strategy and operations to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructures, as well as excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infrastructure strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers to ensure seamless operation of all infrastructure-related activities.
  • Oversee outsourced teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and periodic drills.
  • Maintain production incident management and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management for on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, storage, databases, operating systems, and networks).
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations.
