AWS Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Data Strategist to lead our organization's data architecture and strategy initiatives. This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end cloud data architectures using AWS-native services such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS
- Architect and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines following best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization
- Define and implement data governance, security, access controls, and data lifecycle management in AWS
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the AWS ecosystem to improve data infrastructure
- Support data modeling, data integration, and metadata management
- Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support ongoing development and operations
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in cloud data architecture and strategy
- Deep understanding of AWS services and cloud computing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
