Cloud Data Architect Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our organization.

The selected individual will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud data pipelines using AWS Databricks.

This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify foundational business data domains and work closely with data product stewards to capture data definitions.

Key responsibilities include driving data source lineage reports, recommending data extraction and replication patterns, and managing data migration from big data to AWS Cloud on S3 Snowflake Redshift.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, especially S3 Snowflake Python, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, experience with ETL methods, retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses, and strong experience with relational databases and data access methods especially SQL is essential.

AWS Native data Architecture and services like S3 lambda Glue EMR, Databricks Spark, and Fivetran are key tools for this position.

Excellent collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment are also required.

Moreover, knowledge of migrating relational and dimensional databases on AWS Cloud platform is beneficial.
