Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design, develop and implement large-scale data systems. This role involves leveraging expertise in data engineering, solution design and data analysis to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop complex data architectures using cloud-based technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify solutions.
  3. Work closely with data scientists to distill complex technical information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  4. Develop and execute ETL/ELT pipelines ensuring efficient data flow and performance optimization.
  5. Apply advanced SQL skills to optimize query performance and ensure scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering or solution design in Compliance, Risk or Financial Services domains.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
  • Solid understanding of analytics for risk and compliance use cases such as false positive reduction, alert triaging and investigative workflow analysis.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms ideally in a Snowflake-based data lakehouse architecture.
Technical Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI DAX, Power Query and data modeling.
  • Advanced SQL skills especially with Snowflake.
  • Cloud-based data platforms.
  • ETL/ELT pipeline development.
  • Performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
