
Hostel Guest Services Coordinator

The primary objective of the Front Desk Liaison is to provide exceptional customer service and support to students, visiting faculty, and guests.
This role involves managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, and addressing guest relations, student accommodation, and hostel-related concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
To achieve this goal, the Front Desk Liaison will serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, visiting faculty, and external guests, ensuring professional and courteous handling of phone calls, emails, and in-person queries.
Maintaining visitor records, appointment schedules, and check-in/check-out logs is essential to ensuring seamless operations. The Front Desk Liaison will also act as a liaison between students and administration for hostel-related queries, address student complaints related to facilities and services, and coordinate with student welfare/administration teams for resolution of issues.
Additionally, the Front Desk Liaison will manage bookings, check-in, and check-out process for visiting faculty and institute guests, ensuring rooms are well-prepared, clean, and meet hospitality standards. Any accommodation-related issues will be addressed promptly and effectively.
Monitoring upkeep, cleanliness, and functionality of hostel and guesthouse facilities is crucial to providing an excellent experience for guests. The Front Desk Liaison will coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for smooth operations, report property-related issues, and ensure timely resolution. Maintaining records of complaints, repairs, and service requests for Building B is also essential.
