Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our team at Sika. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the construction chemicals industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pursue sales leads and achieve personal sales objectives by developing and penetrating target markets in the assigned territory.
  • Support business development and customer management by identifying potential customers, providing market intelligence, and coordinating with customer services and logistics personnel.
  • Assist in product promotion, product trials, and identifying new customers, including distributors, to pursue new applications and interact with process and product developers.
  • Continuously increase market intelligence and update customer and competitor data to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiate and close deals or contracts with customers and provide operational guidance and support to relevant departments.
  • Identify customer requirements and offer solutions accordingly.
  • Explore and appoint distributors and applicators to ensure smooth sales and operations and ensure market coverage.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support efficient planning of products and services.
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering graduate or diploma, or Management Graduate in Marketing (desired).
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in construction chemical sales.
