Geographic Information System Developer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Geographic Information System (GIS) Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in implementing GIS solutions, publishing and administering map services, and maintaining geodatabases.

The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and TypeScript, as well as experience with ESRI APIs and tools. Knowledge of open-source GIS software like GeoServer, PostGIS, GDAL, GeoPandas, and GeoSpark is also essential.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should be able to work effectively in an agile environment using Scrum and Kanban, and possess excellent communication skills. Desired qualifications include experience in hybrid on-premise and cloud environments, as well as familiarity with technologies such as Google Big Query, Airflow, Elastic Search, Spark, Kafka, Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, VS Code, and Kubernetes.
