Job Opportunity: Geospatial Data Analyst

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with expertise in geospatial data and software. Experience with image analysis, including band combinations, pixel depth, and image strip artifacts removal, is highly valued.

Job Description
  • Data Collection and Management: The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and managing large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
  • Validation and Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data through validation checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
  • ETL Operations: Conduct ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • Geospatial Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on geospatial data and software.
  • Strong knowledge of image analysis techniques, including band combinations, pixel depth, and image strip artifacts removal.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Data Reviewer and ETL operations between GIS applications/database.
