Job Description

As a senior leader in Master Data Management (MDM), you will be responsible for defining and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures for SAP master data. This includes leading the design and enforcement of master data models, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and data quality metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective data governance strategies to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SAP modules.
  • Lead the development of master data models, including material master, vendor, customer, finance objects, and other relevant entities.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs and data quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of MDM initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of SAP experience, with at least 4+ years in a Master Data Management lead role.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP MDM, MDG, and Data Services tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP master data objects and expertise in data governance, validation rules, and approval workflows.
  • Proficient in data profiling, cleansing tools, and reporting (SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, Excel, SQL).
Preferred Attributes:
  • Exposure to large-scale SAP implementations or global data management programs.
  • Experience with Agile project delivery and data governance frameworks.
