**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our data governance initiatives and drive the adoption of Collibra practices across the organization.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to define and scale governance frameworks, work with senior stakeholders, and influence data culture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles, experience with Collibra platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations, as well as excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Data Governance Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and administering Collibra across the enterprise.
  • Designing and configuring the Collibra Operating Model.
  • Building and optimizing custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrating Collibra with various platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • Partnering with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establishing frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Providing training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting (Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in Collibra.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification strongly preferred.
