Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality IT infrastructure to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of our datacentres, platforms, and corporate systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage AIX Servers and SAN storage arrays
  • Implement backup, replication, HA, and recovery technologies
  • Ensure AIX Server security and hardware management

We are looking for an expert in IT infrastructure who can deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including AIX operating system administration and knowledge of automation scripting.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent industry certifications and experience
  • AIX operating system administration skills
  • Knowledge of automation scripting
  • Keen interest in and knowledge of latest server and storage technologies
  • Successfully implemented Infrastructure projects
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently and able to take initiative, drive change and new technologies and methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients
  • Passionate about providing an excellent service experience for our clients
  • Superior problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent time-management skills – ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients
